One's Stupid Survey
On the 1st of April 2004, the franchise for the Southminster Branch line was awarded to One Great Eastern. After getting the franchise 'one' (who they seem be known as) decided to do a survey and ask customers what their priorities for improvements were. Rather strangely, their customers were given a list of just four improvements to choose from:
- More facilities on stations.
- More fare offers for days out.
- Closer links with the community.
- More facilities on trains.
