Contacting your MP about the Southminster Branch Line can be very effective. Companies take letters from MP's more seriously than from individuals. If you don't know, check who your MP is by entering your post code at the directory of MP's. As far as I'm aware, there are two MP's that cover the area relevant to the Southminster Branch Line. These are

• John Whittingdale OBE (Maldon and East Chelmsford Constituency)
• Mark Francois (Rayleigh Constituency, but covering South Woodham Ferrers)
