I'm of the belief that the best way to complain is in writing, rather than by emails or telephone. However, a complaint to One Great Eastern, copied to your local MP John Whittingdale is likely to be quite effective. John Whittingdale is well aware of the problems on the line. You can find an article titled Southminster: Branch line plea by MP on the this is essex website I've also seen a letter he wrote to the former Great Eastern about the line, in particular the retiming of the 1804 to 1816, which means the 1816 is very crowded and people have a long wait between that and the previous train (1722). However, all this happend many years ago, so a reminder of the line's quality of service would not go amiss
